Abstract

Every road is very closely related to the environment. The environment constantly affects road and road has certain impact on the environment. The environmental natural conditions (topography, relief, climate, hydrology, soils, geology, flora and fauna) determine each other and that is why all the environment conditions should be considered collectively. Road zoning is the base method for studying the environment and road interaction. There are two aspects of road zoning process: the environmental control and engineering. Territorial differences are based on regional conditions that determine principles and methods of road design, construction and maintenance. Grading and systematizing, using different methods and models analyze the information got during the research. Evaluation of the results from the scientific aspect, allow improving the laws and standards, set and introduce innovative management and technologies, as well as take an optimal solution in the environment protection and design, construction and maintenance of road, also to evaluate the ecological damages by the effectiveness of the economy.
