The thermodynamical principles of the chemical coloration of the facade part of sand - lime bricks are presented. According to this technology the facade part of bricks is colorated only 5 mm deep. The colorating compounds are formed in the mass of bricks by the reaction between the constituents of the bricks and specific chemical compounds - impregnating agents and after that - fixatives.
