Abstract (en)

The basic sources of pollutant emission to atmosphere in Lithuania are mobile pollutant sources, industry and energetic. The motor transport pollutant has the greater share in the emission of mobile pollutant sources. A significant fraction of natural and antropogenic air pollutants, emitted into the atmosphere either as a primary aerosol or as the product of gas-to-particle conversion, ends up in the atmosphere as a quite stable sub micrometer aerosol particles. They are responsible for many atmospheric phenomena.
