Abstract (en)
The paper considers optimal design problems of the elastic-plastic plates. Problems are formulated as nonlinear discrete optimization problems. The optimal shakedown elastic-plastic steel flexural plates under presence of strength and stiffness constraints is considered. An iterative approximate solution algorithm based on Rosen project gradient is proposed for optimal shakedown design of plates.
