Innovations in construction e-business systems: improving materials selection

Abstract

Internet has become the environment of information and business in which there are millions of electronic sites and systems designed for the e-commerce and e-business. It gives new great opportunities in different fields. In order to improve the process of selection of construction products, the possibilities to apply constantly improving computer technologies carry a significant weight. It is very important, because the proper selection of construction products has a significant impact on construction effectiveness. Therefore, in this article special attention is paid to the organization of construction products commerce when applying innovative computer technologies. To achive this effect, the analysis of electronic systems for construction products commerce was carried out and possible decisions as well support methods were analyzed. Additionally, following the research results, the model of construction of an e-business system was madwe as well.
