Abstract (en)
The aim of the investigation was to establish the microbial resistance of polymeric materials of a variable chemical composition. The data about microbial deterioration of 5 different polymeric films exposed to natural conditions are presented. The results showed differences between fungal species composition and their aggressiveness towards the tested films under iden tical exposure conditions, suggesting the importance of biochemistry and physiology of fungi for the biocorrosion process.
