Reducing of oil consumption in diesel engines of terminal trains - is an urgent economics and environment problem of railway. Consumption of engine oil can be reduced by optimising the evaporation of oil in the engine and adjusting the quantity which is used for supplementing untill its complete changing, and also by extending of exploitation time for the engine oil. This can be reached by improving of construction of thermal trains, its maintenance during exploitation and repair - using engine oils of high quality with good neutralizing and dispersive features and big resources of efficiency.
