Abstract (en)

The aim of the article is to examine the land-reuse possibilities in industrial areas of the Paupys district in Vilnius and to investigate if resulting changes are reasonable socially and functionally. The methods and results of the urban-sociological survey as well as a brief investigation of the real estate market and functional use of buildings in the analysed areas and neighbouring historic districts are overviewed.
