Abstract

The enterprises implementing the quality management system must identify the process, the process criteria and measuring methods. However, the standard includes only the requirements without any recommendations or examples how to implement the requirements. When the theory and recommendations have been analysed four steps to set up the main process criteria should be determined. Firstly enterprises need to identify the process activities and functions. Secondly, enterprises need to determine features of their products and services. Thirdly, methods to evaluate steps of process activities must be set up. This should be performed using factors having influence on success. Then different types of activities and functions should be joined to form process using the verb focused process identification model. The fourth step is to identify the measurable criteria dimension.
