Abstract (en)
The paper describes features of modified friction machine which can work with friction pairs “rotating roller – rotating roller” and “rotating roller – fixed block” under boundary lubrication conditions. This computerized tribometer allows to register following tribological properties of friction pairs and lubricants: friction torque, temperature near the friction zone, lubricant temperature and vibration acceleration of upper specimen measured in two perpendicular directions. The sample results of measurements of these tribological properties are also presented in the paper.
