Apžvelgiant architektūros istorinė raida, akcentuojant įvairių žmogaus pavidalo aspektų panaudojimą architektūros praktikoje ar teoriniuose veikaluose. Antropomorfizmas architektūros retrospekcijoje atsiskleidžia skirtingais požymiais: proporcijų bei modulio paieška, žmogaus pavidalo analogija pirminėms geometrinėms figūroms, žmogaus kūno ir architektūros objekto dalių svarbos hierarchine ar funkcine analogija.
