Abstract

Popularity of digital library in most cases depends on amount of data stored in its database. This amount can be increased by improvement of the document conversion methods. The method, shortly described here, based on creating document directory structure. Directory structure is the output of document structurisation process, main principles of one are taken from the theory of parsing and compiling. The structure consists of logical and physical objects, which can be later exported to the digital library’s database. Documents, stored in this way are very convenient to use: custom interface and various search, archiving capabilities can be applyed to them.
