Straipsnyje apžvelgiama biurų pastatų tipologija ir raidos etapai. Nagrinėjama, kokiais principais ir į kokias grupes skirstomi biurų pastatai. Pateikiamos žymių firmų ir jų architektų biurų pastatų kompleksų sistemos, taip pat pastatų planavimo sistemos, kurias parengė ir rekomendavo Lietuvos architektūros teoretikai. Apžvelgiama, kaip sovietmečio laikotarpiu formavosi biuro pastato sąvoka ir kaip tūrinei kompozicijai ir patalpoms pastatuose išdėstyti buvo taikyti šalies architektūriniai sprendimai pagal rekomenduojamus tipinius aukštus. Apžvelgiami aukštybinių pastatų raidos etapai, kurie skirstomi į kategorijas pagal aukštį, plano konfigūracija ir architekturinės išraiškos ypatumus.
This article presents typology and evolution of office buildings. It also analyses distribution principles and groups of office buildings. The paper reviews systems of complexes and planning of office buildings of the famous companies designed by well-known architects. Moreover, the study introduces the buildings’ systems which have been prepared and recommended by architecture theorists in Lithuania. Besides this, the development of office‘s concept in the Soviet period is reviewed with the focus on how architectural decisions were applied for volumetric composition and distribution of rooms in the office buildings according to the recommendations for the typical arrangement of floors. The article also reviews the evolution stages of high office buildings (sky-scrapers), which are divided into categories according to their height, plan configurations and architectural expression.
