Abstract (en)
Liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) (mainly propane) is among the many alternatives proposed to replace gasoline in the short term due to its excellent characteristics as a fuel for spark ignition (SI) engines. This paper presents investigation of SI engines, working with liquefied petroleum gas at the economic, ecology and dynamic view. The results of the tests were analyzed with different generation gas equipment. The characteristic curves of power and torque moment changes at different positions of the accelerator damper has been studied.
