Scientific research is mostly based on composite methods, which generate various types of errors. Thus imply on necessity to implement intercalibration of measurements, which helps to compare results and find out the errors and their reasons. Intercalibrative measurements were implemented in VGTU and MPI environmental laboratories. When comparing results from laboratories of both VGTU and MPI, it was determined that an absolute error in case of Zn measurements at VGTU is about 4 times greater than at MPI, but around 7 times less than that at MPI. Positive correlation (correlation coefficient of 0,75) was determined between Zn concentration values, measured in VGTU and MPI. R-squared value for linear trend line between concentration values in Zn case was 0,57, and that for Mn -0,36.
