Abstract (en)

The article deals with the linguistic means for describing phenomena of cause and effect in Lithuanian texts. It analyses technical publications where characteristic words and collocations are used for expressing the interdependence between different processes of natural phenomena or technological realities. Special attention is paid to the linguistic irregularities and mistakes of Lithuanian printed texts analysing mainly problems of architecture and building construction. One of the tasks of the article is to record (and prevent) pecular linguistic faults in technical descriptions by students.
