Abstract (en)
A major phenomenon of globalization, outsourcing occurs when companies contract out activities previously performed in-house or in-country to foreign companies globally. The paper will provide a knowledge management approach, the insight into outsourcing, as a category, analyses business process outsourcing (BPO) to emerging markets. The understanding of the theory and practice of BPO processes with the special reference to knowledge management approach of outsourcing are used as modified Harward style case study for Lithuania. BPO project: Outsource to Lithuania and its peculiarities are presented in this paper.
