Abstract (en)
This paper presents the research results of hard layers (Fe-C-Cr-B, Fe-C-Cr-Mo) resistance to abrasive wear. The layers have been formed by experimentally varying the quantities of carbon and chromium electrodes. Based on experimental results, the research states the greatst strength to wear is indicated by hard layers Fe-C-Cr-B whose chromium quantity is 19...21 % at the chromium and carbon ratio of 5...9. In hard layers Fe-C-Cr-B containing carbon 2,4 % and more (60...63 HRC), the wear appears small and steady. Analogically, when in layers Fe-C-Cr-Mo carbon quantity reaches 3,4 % or more (58...59 HRC), wear down decreases and becomes steady. Carbon quantity affects the abrasive wear of hard layers Fe-C-Cr-B, Fe-C-Cr-Mo by an exponential.
