Theoretically, new characteristics of surface plasmon propagation at the interface between bio-inspired nanowire metamaterial and Kerr nonlinear medium are described. We provide exact solutions to the wave equation with anisotropic semiconductor permittivity that meet the medium interface boundary criteria. Analysis is done on how the geometric and optical parameters affect the optical response of the system. The suggested structure has potential applications in THz sensing, imaging, spectroscopy, and bio applications that imitate the useful characteristics of living biological tissues in order to identify disorders like cancer. The presented approach can have a significant impact on the development of methodological approaches toward precise identification of pathological tissues and would allow for efficient detection of cancer-related changes.
