Rapidly setting cement hydration kinetics microcalorimetric investigations were made at 25, 40, 60 and 80°C. It was found, that when the hydration temperature is increased from 25 to 80°C, the cement hydration degree during 24 h increased by 72% . Similar investigations were performed using various cement hydration kinetics modifiers. The influence of CuS04 on rapid cement hydration was studied. It was determined, that CuS04 additive acts accordingly to the films forming on clinker mineral mechanism, which slows down its hydration. This effect decreases with a increase in hydration temperature.
