Abstract (en)

The amount of activities connected with the Real Estate business as well as the member of employess involved in these activities is growing rapidly in all countries with transition economies. Moreover, these activities need new knowledge and organizational skills. The article deals with two main aspects of Real Estate business – Management and Financing and pays attention to differences of management and financing of real estate if compare with more traditional types of activity in production or service. The key functions of facilities management theory and practice should perform in the Real Estate business development are discussed.
