The concept of the limit bearing capacity based on the method of the eccentricity limit in case of two axial strengths in cross sections of columns under eccentric diagonal compression is discussed. The equations of vector analysis and calculation method of building codes are used. The results of the limit capacity of columns cross-sections are discussed. Calculation variants are the combination of six cross-section dimension values, five reinforcing and four concrete class variants. Eight to ten values of the axial forces are used. A large amount of the calculation results are provided. The reliability of the results is evaluated. It is stated how it is important to know the limit bearing capacity of the column cross-section under eccentric diagonal compression, to realise the design possibilities and to evaluate of limit bearing capacity of column cross-sections in existing buildings.
