Naturalization processes of channels in Lithuania research and evaluation

Abstract

These add contains information about the research data and its analysis regarding the situation of drainage channels in Lithuania. We have carried questionnaire on land reclamation service departments, which resulted in the collection of data about typical damages of the channels. The quality situation of drainage channels is counted and equalized in abstract units – percents of sum of all damages. The presented maps of percentage isolines are made using geographic information systems. Five most often types of channel deformation isoline maps are connected by the same conditions of channel damage isoline map. The map can be used to concentrate the attention and the finance for improving important channel service work or for installing method of controlled naturalization.
