Abstract (en)
In this paper, a new engineering method has been proposed for calculation of deformations of reinforced concrete beams under short-term loading. It is based on Flexural Deformational Model developed at VGTU. Main principle in developing the method is use of classical formulas of strength of materials. Based on results of numerical experiment, a simple relationship for the effective moment of inertia has been proposed.
