Abstract (en)

The article deals with showing the future transport strategies. The transport strategies are developed in response to these future scenarios that cover of ITS vision to describe the opportunities, benefits and challenges of the future transportation system. There are described forward-thinking ITS programmes and projects, ITS vision in Lithuania - ITS vision is as follows: to consider certain aspects of ITS services, to make a strategic development plan and ITS architecture more adequate to the demands of client. There are showed the overall conclusion of SWOT analysis of ITS development in LIthuania.
