Tirtas anglinių plienų apvirinimas, naudojant miltelinę savisaugę vielą. Remiantis apvirinimo savisauge "Innerschield" viela metalurgijos ypatumais atlikti eksperimentai, kurie leidžia spręsti apie šios rūšies medžiagų panaudojimo galimybę priešeutektoidinių plienų apvirinimui. Atlikti apvirinto sluoksnio metalo metalografiniai tyrimai, kietumo matavimai. Nustatyta rumbelės metalo kietumo priklausomybė nuo apvirinimo proceso charakteristikų ir struktūrinių pokyčių, pateikiamos rekomendacijos, kaip pasiekti geresnes apvirinto paviršiaus ekspluatacines savybes.
Welding with self-protected welding wire has spread more widely within welding of constructions, However, it is rarely used in repair welding. High efficiency of the process, easy control, simple maintenance, and use of mobile equipment give a possibility to use this process outdoors to weld surfaces of worn-out details without gas protection. Data on self-protected welding wire technological and welding characteristics show many controversies and are not sufficient for welding of steels containing different content of carbon. It was established after investigation of hardness of deposit that the structure and geometrical parameters of deposit depend on parameters of the facing. Hardness of deposit exceeds that of the base metal. Metalographical tests showed that depending on the amount of carbon in wire and base metal different structures appear in the weld bead (troostite or troostite and low-carbon martensite). Formations of troostite or ferrite and pearlite appear on the fusion area and heat-affected area. On the basis of test results it was established that the high hardness of weld bead metal and free of defects structure allow for good abrasive resistance and longevity of deposit “Innerschield” type wires may be used for repair welding of hypo-eutectoid steel constructions without heat treatment after welding. The most optimal weld bead exploitation characteristics with respect to hardness, geometry of joint and effect of heat to the base metal are reached when welding is provided with the optimal process characteristics. “Innerschield” type wires may be used for repair of high-carbon , difficult to weld hyper-eutectoid steel constructions without using heat treatment after welding. On the basic of test results it was established that when the speed of welding is increased the hardness of weld bead is increased one and a half times and can reach 51 HRC. The content of carbon in self-protecting wires has the most influence on hardness of weld bead.
