Abstract (en)
Determination of normal crack width at reinforcement level according to its width at the surface of the member is analysed. Performed analysis and relationships of ratio between crack widths in the surface in extreme tension and these at the level of reinforcement with parameters of relative compression zone depth and distance between tensile reinforcement and the surface of tension side are presented. Assumptions used in the analysis conform to the acting code requirements for calculations of normal cracks widths. Results of investigations have been used for analysis and determination of widths of normal cracks in reinforced concrete structures of construction works.
