Abstract

The paper deals with the research data on sceneries of Vilnius city and its suburbs. Evaluations of the sceneries are very important to increasing tourism, recreation and prestige of city The aim of this investigation was to evaluate influence of vegetation structures to scenery ecoaesthetical quality. There were evaluated 62 sceneries in 2001 2005: Pavilniai (22 sceneries). Verkiai (5 sceneries and, Neris Regional Parks (12 sceneries) as well as Trakai National Historical Park (23 sceneries). Ecoaesthetical quality of the investigated sceneries ranged from 63 to 109 points. They were divided into three groups by ecoaesthetical quality and into three groups by the character of vegetation structures. The correlation analysis of sceneries and ecoaesthetical quality of their components was carried out. Significant correlation coefficients of all scenery components were ascertained.
