Abstract (en)

Authors of paper are presenting information about the Geo-engineering studies in Lithuania. Lithuania was one of the first countries from Continental Europe, which introduced two- tier system of University education. Geo-engineering subjects are thought in nine higher education institutions of Lithuania. Analysis of Geo-engineering studies in two Universities nof Lithuania is presented as a representative case examples. Hydrogeology and Engineering Geology in Vilnius University (VU) and Geotechnics in Vilnius Gediminas Technical University are the only specializations of Geo-engineering studies in Lithuania in first and secong cycles.
