Abstract

On the terminal of the railway with freights the following operations are executed: the outswapping from coaches, warehousing, grouping, distribution to the directions of transportation, straight line overloading from the road transport in coaches or from coaches directly on vehicles. For the fulfilment of operations on the terminal it is neccessary to have appropriate equipment. Therefore the problem of the workers of the terminal is optimally to agree miscellaneous technological processes of freight handling so that automobiles and coaches should stand minimally, idle. The offered model allows to model idle time of means of transport when loaded and empty wagons, the arrangement and usage of loading means and also the quantity of automobiles arriving and leaving the terminal are known.
