Abstract (en)
Shear strength of rectangular reinforced concrete floor beam according to Eurocodes and code acting in Lithuania are compared. Three formulae prepared in Eurocodes for shear strength of beam without shear reinforcement and two methods for beams with shear reinforcement are compared with provisions of the code acting in Lithuania at present. Difference between partial safety factors for loads is taken into account.
