Abstract (en)

The present paper considers a prediction of damage to cladding panels due to accidental explosions. The central idea of the paper is to apply a small-size experimental sample of explosive action characteristics for estimating the probabilities of specific damage events. The samples are transformed into ones consisting of values of a fragility functions related to a particular damage event. It is proposed to apply statistical (bootstrap) resampling of fragility function values to a calculation of interval estimates of the damage probabilities.
