The paper presents results of coatings tribological characteristics. Four unique chemical composition errperimental cored wires: STEIN-MESYFIL 953V; STEIN-MESYFIL 932V; STEIN-MESYFIL 95 V; STEINMESYFIL 957V were used for thermal arc spraying. The coatings have been deposited on steel substrates. Wear behaviour of coatings were talked over with considering to load and relative velocity. Wear tests were performed under 3-body-abrasion as well as combined impactlabrasion conditions, respectively. Dry-sand rubber-wheel procedure according ASTM G65 was used to investigate low stress abrasion, whereas for high stress abrasion investigations a steel wheel was used. This investigation shows that the tribological behaviour of thermal arc sprayed fenous Mn-Si-Gr-Mo, Mn€i-Co, Mn-Mo-Ni and Mn-Gr coatings is greatly affected by its microstructural constituents such as porosity, oxide inclusions and shape of particle and micro hardness of coatings. Results for thermal sprayed coatings of all experiments are discussed.
