Abstract (en)

In article expresses the view on development of urban transport system. A great varety of investigations concerning inhabitants mobility have been conducted in major Cities and towns of Lithuania. The dotained results of the researchetions are shown in the presented Tables. Pedestrians and bicycles are two categories of traffic which are least harmful to us from the point of view of ecology. The use of bicycles and barriers for their development in the city of Kaunas are set out in this article.
