Abstract (en)
The first half of the paper describes the existing concepts of risk and uncertainty, and shows how the opportunities can be identified and exploited as the possible risks of uncertainty. The second part of the paper addresses the opportunity exploitation as the supporting approach for a PMBOK project risk management process. It describes the common used processes as planning, identification, analysis of the opportunities and possible treatment strategies.
