This article deals with analysis of development process of public logistics centres (LC) network in Lithuania. It brings an overview of current state of Lithuanian transport network and freight transport market, examines objectives for the development of LC network, provides analysis of significante of LC for the particular market segments and concludes with the analysis of further actions towards public LC network establishment on the territory of Lithuania.
