Abstract (en)
The calculation algorithm to form the convex polygon tool trajectory to the component contour is presented. The algorithm could be used by CAM (Computer Aided Manufacturing) systems to calculate the trajectory of a tool. The algorithm of parallel offset based on vector algebra is described. Also, an explanation of recognition of the trajectory breaks and filling them when a convex polygon tool is used is given.
