Abstract (en)

Recent years are an impulsive expression of dynamics of technical progress in all spheres of science and technology. Currently, production of cars has reached about 50 million cars per year, whereas a full car depot consists of 720 million cars. All cars are characteristic of making noise: it is especially true in urbanized cities because the level of motoring is rising. On purpose to reduce the noise made by cars by 1 dBA. the cost price of a vehicle increases about 3%. It must be implemented so that the level of noise would be set to "Euro 4" standards and the economic damage would not grow. The average economic damage caused by acoustic discomfort for one citizen of Lithuania constantly increases. If in 2000. the damage was up to 30 Lt. in 2010 and 2020 it can reach 50.2 and 70.5 Lt, respectivelv.
