Abstract (en)
Results of experimental and theoretical investigation of deflection of composite steel and concrete beams with different shear connectors are analyzed in this article. A composite beam made of I profile steel beam with 50 mm wide concrete slab with different quantity and shape of shear connectors were tested. A method for calculation of deflection of composite beam, which theoretically estimates the stiffness of the shear connection, based on "built-up bars theory" is also proposed. Theoretical results have good coincidence with experimental results.
