Abstract (en)

The article discusses the notion ‘remaining resource’ as well as acceptable service life of solid layers in flexible road pavement construction. When strengthening (repairing) the pavement, it is advisable to determine the remaining resource of deterioration for solid layers. The article suggests a methodology for calculating the remaining resource of solid layers. It is based on the analysis of changes in resistance of layers in case of binding tension (pavement fatigue disintegration accumulated due to cyclical loads. [...].
