Society shows an increasing interest in the most important street's exploitation ratio - number of accidents in the roads all over the world. Nowadays the regulation of traffic and traffic safety becomes one of the biggest problem in cities and town’s planning. The article presents the dynamic of the accidents in crossings in the city of Vilnius in 1991-1998. All the accidents in this article are analysed by various criteria – by changes of number of the accidents in crossings during years, during months of year, during days of week and during 24 hours. There are presented description of 16th the most dangerous crossroads of the city of Vilnius and the number of the suffered people in the accidents in accordance with types of crossroads and categories of participants in the accidents also.
