The extremum energy principles, variational formulations of the stress- strain analysis problems and their relations for elastic-rigid locking body under monotonically increasing (simple) loading are investigated. The general principles of a minimum of total strain energy and total complementary energy are formulated. The known energy principles and variational problems for perfectly plastic-rigid body are given from these general principles.
