In this article it is dealt with straw as a renewable fuel, the use of relevance and perspective. You can get known with the potential of straw, the main features of the use as fuel and experience of the growth potential in Lithuania. Simulations of straw burning boiler technologies are introduced into the different options: a continuous automated process and batch loading of boilers for heat. According to the annual heating demand for the duration of the schedule, rhe number of boilers and choice of power is discussed. A facility for an additional quantity of heat extracted from the smoke and heat to reduce pollution of the environment are offered. Annual emissions for the boiler reconstruction into atmospheric air are estimated and the practical use of ashes, avoiding the storage of in landfills is proposed. Biofuel sourcing mode is selected and determined by the cost of straw fuel.
