Abstract (en)

Today all the EU and Eu-candidate countries are facing big problem of disbalance in growth of different transport modes and all the consequences relating to it. Many policy makers believe that modal shift can be a measure that will help to solve all these problems. But in order to perform modal shift right, this process has to have a scientific background. The article presents an analysis of the all possibe actors involved in the transportation chain and their role in the modal hoice process, i. e. level at which they are able to affect decision towards modal shift.
