Genius lies in simplicity. There were times when all lifeforms lived in equal conditions. Since men were the ones with the ability to gain and develop information, they exalted themselves as more privileged and started immoderate usage of natural resources. According to the contemporary ecological views, this kind of behaviour should be treated as unacceptable. Although nature is our natural home, it is essential for people to feel safe in their own limited and closed area. Archaeology researches say that men used to build their houses from raw materials found nearby. In Northern and Eastern Europe this material was wood. The first known and simplest dwellings were made of branches covered with moss for insulation. Later (until 1200 AD) many dwellings developed and were built of posts pushed into the ground, wooden branches were added to give rigidity and a thatched roof was added. This construction was a stimulus for log and timber framework constructions to evolve. Nowadays new wooden constructions are developed according to the ecological issues, using timber production waste and improving their resistance.
