The question of naming God is developed in the context of the phenomenology of culture in the article. The author emphasizes three theses. According to the first one, naming God is a factor of existential creativity, i.e. it initiates both a new understanding of our place in the living whole and the changing of this whole. According to the second one, naming God supposes culture as a co-activity of both us and God, in other words, we name God as a part of our cultural environment enlarged in this way. The author formulates that we are creating God, and God is creating us. According to the third theses, we name God as being suffering and loving entities. The author refuses the difference of agape and eros, looking for the points of intersection, while he interprets the passages of love both in the Old Testament and the New Testament. The author develops the concept of existential analogy that embraces the interconnection between language (naming) and being (existence), as well. The author uses the concepts of Dichtsein and poiesis in his investigations. Dichtsein expresses creative being during the poetic naming of phenomena in our living environment. Poesis expresses the creation of our existence, while these phenomena take part as directions. In this way, the author introduces sketches of horizontal theology dealing with the phenomenology of creation. The concept of existential creation is developed, looking for the intersection between naming and making real.
