Abstract (en)
The greatest part of pollution in cities is produced by vehicles in the streets. The amount of the pollutants, emitting into the atmosphere depend on many factors, such as the age of the vehicles, that are driving the streets, the volume of the engines of these vehicles and some other characteristics, to be mentioned in the article bellow. It appears that it is popular in Lithuania to have a big car, although it costs very much to have one. It is also very popular to have a gasoline based car insteated of a diesel one. Why is it so? Is that really things are? That is the aim of this article and this investigation - to find if this is true. It looks like it appears to be.
