In the period of XVIII century when demolished cities of Pompeii and Herculaneum were found understanding of heritage objects has changed. At those times principles of heritage protection began to form. Till nowadays the system of heritage protection developed far away but because of permanent change of values of population it should adapt to new needs and priorities. Some ways of coming development of architectural heritage protection are presented in this article.
