Abstract (en)

The intense competition exposed by globalisation and international integration has become of higher importance. Hence, the ability of companies to invest into human capital has become a topical issue. The aim of paper is to deal with the problems of vocational training in the EU and the comparison of Lithuania to other countries. Author analyses situation in the EU and presents results of the survey carried out in Lithuania. Policy implications in field of vocational training are seen as main outcome of presented research.
