Laivais ir jų paslaugomis žmonės naudojasi jau nuo seniausių laikų. Viskas prasidėjo nuo paprasto medienos loto, kuris to meto žmonėms atstojo valtį. Naudojantis ir paprastais luotais žmonės sugebėjo keliauti upėmis, susisiekti su toli gyvenančiais giminaičiais, draugais. Bėgant metams tobulėjo ir žmonių išradingumas ir supratimas kokio tipo reikia valčių ar laivų. Tobulėjant laivams tobulėjo ir laivų eksploatavimo metodai, imta naudoti kurą, anglis, garo mašinas ir kitas priemones greitesniam laivo eksploatavimui. Tačiau dėl ankstesnių laivų išmetamo didelio taršos kiekio šiuolaikiniuose laivuose stengiamasi diegti kuo daugiau gamtai palankių technologijų. Žaliasis diskursas prisideda prie ekonomikos gerinimo. Laivas yra vienas iš seniausių statinių, nes jo statymo metodika lieka labai panaši kaip ir pirmykščių laivų metodika, tik šiuolaikiniams laivams yra audojamas metalas, kad laivai būtų patvaresni. Prie Žaliojo diskurso teikiamos naudos prisideda ir „Pramonė 4.0“, kurios pagrindinis tikslas yra kuo labiau skaitmenizuoti pramonę ir sumažinti žmogiškuosius išteklius.
People have been using ships and their services since ancient times. It all started with a simple batch of wood that was a boat for people at the time. People kept improving their boats every decade until they finally turned them into ships. However, due to the high levels of pollution from previous ships, modern ships are trying to introduce as many environmentally friendly technologies as possible. Climate change has led to the emergence of a green discourse whose main goal is to reduce climate change. The Green Discourse has launched a process of digitization in shipping through Industry 4.0. The object of the research of this article is the influence of green discourse on the development of technology. The research aims to describe the influence of green discourse on the change of shipping technology. Objectives of the research: To determine the directions of the influence of green discourse on shipping technologies, study the evolution of shipping, and analyze the change of shipping technologies. Green discourse contributes to improving the economy and reducing the greenhouse effect. Until 2050 The European Union's new Green Agreement aims to make the EU as a whole climate-neutral. Shipping is one of the most potent sources of pollution, but pollution can also be unintentional. The ship is one of the simplest structures because its construction methodology remains very similar to that of the original ships, only modern ships use metal to make the ships more durable. The construction of the ship resembles a metal box, which consists of bulkheads, deck, plating, cabins, platforms, and so on. Industry 4.0, whose main goal is to digitize industry as much as possible and reduce human resources, also contributes to the benefits of the Green Discourse. The main goal of the digitalization of shipping is to improve the flow of cargo, information, and ships, and to improve the motility of vehicles.
